Job Title:              Field Operations Supervisor   

Department:         Field Operations

Reports To:          Area Field Operations Manager


Supervises the day to day activities for the coordination of field dispatch of technicians and equipment; build up and test of all hardware to support managed services as well as oversee the RMA process to ensure an efficient and effective organization.


  • Specific responsibility for Field Ops team to ensure dispatch of technicians and equipment is done efficiently and effectively to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with the goal of operational excellence while ensuring that all company values are realized in the area.
  • Provide oversight to the bench technician, set priorities for build-up and test to ensure we meet customer demand.
  • Ensure efficient use of field resources, validate RigNet is delivering jobs coordination is responsible for; validate all corporate policies and processes are followed.
  • Maintain standard process to RMA equipment from the field to find common failures and drive recommendations around improvements.
  • Ensure efficient and effective coordination of day to day jobs and that all processes and paperwork are completed for every job.
  • Provide feedback loop to Resource Supervisor on quality and skill set of technicians.
  • Work closely with Sales and Sales Engineering Departments to ensure deliverability in the sales and solution phase.
  • Assist the Sales department as requested and is reasonable in the pre-sales stage.
  • Complete annual performance reviews of direct reports



Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or supervisor role preferred
  • Experience with operations in the area preferred.
  • Background in the oil & gas industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of remote communications is preferred
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
